Memorandum and Articles of Association B.R.I.O. - “Brilliant realities under observation”
Article 1- The registered office of the association is in Calvi (BN), in Campania, Italy. The B.R.I.O. Association is a non-profit, apolitical, independent and pluralist organization directed towards an intercultural dialogue. The association is set up for an unlimited period of time. The Association has as further centre Naples, in Campania, Italy and Termoli (CB), in Molise, Italy. The members might decide to move the Head Office of the association if it will be necessary through a resolution of the Boards of Directors approved by a member’s meeting.
Article 2- The Association pursues the aim of promoting events linked to the knowledge of the different cultures as well as to the “subordinate”, non-European and European social realities through research activities and experimental development in the field of the humanistic and social science in order to promote, to preserve, to educate and to train to the material and incorporeal Arts.
To pursue its objectives the Association will promote several activities such as:
1) Analyzing festive events and all activities related to them in order to record and give value to the cultural and traditional elements;
2) Recovering and studying of differences and peculiarities in the diet;
3) Carrying out recovery and documentary research on the local traditions;
4) To obtain licences from public authorities, also in accordance with youth employment laws (art. 10) as well as with public and private bodies; to draw up or to propose to the European Community, to the Region and also to the Province, which have territorial jurisdiction, possible development plans about the chosen areas;
5) To offer one’s own competences and to collaborate with the authorities and institutions appointed to the study of social science, as well as cooperatives and associations;
6) Management of museums, libraries and multimedial centre; to provide, also on commission of the competent authorities, to the identification and cataloguing of the artistic goods as well as to their custody in the museums, galleries or other places where is it possible to find some art works;
7) To manage all duties linked with the recovery and restoration of art works damaged by the atmospheric calamity or by other events;
8) To safeguard landscapes promoting all activities in order to protect the environment;
9) Teaching activities with use of audio-visual and textual media in schools of any levels;
10) Conferences, performances, exhibitions, festivals, expositions, competitions;
11) Workshops and stages of music, theatre, cinema, documentary cinema, photography, painting, handicraft, alternative medicine, holistic sciences and motor arts;
12) Spreading activities with use of mass-media, editorial activities, bibliographic consultations, translation from and into foreign languages;
13) To promote a period of study abroad for the Italian people and in our country for foreign students;
14) Twinnings and agreement protocols with associative realities, Foundations, Italians ONG and from other countries;
15) Travels planning;
16) Publication of an informative paper, publication and circulation of a free magazine also on-line;
17) Training courses ( not formal and informal);
18) Production and achievement of audio-visual materials (Cd-Rom, DVD, music CD, ecc.), of a WEBTV and also about the pod-casting service.
Art. 6 - The Board of Directors is made up by five members who are:

Cultural Director/Scientific Representative
The Secretary
The Treasurer
The Board of Directors will be elected during the first member’s meetings.
